Nice summary of how to learn. An underrated skill not taught in formal education, at least not early on...

Thank you! It’s true that the art of learning to learn is not taught sufficiently in education. Many could do well understanding it better.

I find that the better I get at learning, the more adaptable I become.

I really enjoyed this post, Rasmus. It resonated strongly with me, especially your points about purposeful consumption and creativity.

Your mention of games particularly struck a chord. Like you, I've found games to be an important part of my life. I agree that the key is in purposeful consumption. There's often that moment of realization when you're playing a game you once enjoyed, but suddenly it hits you -- you're not actually enjoying it anymore. Instead, you're playing out of habit or compulsion. It's as if the game's mechanisms have stripped away your choice.

It's a powerful reminder of why we need to stay conscious of how we spend our time and energy, whether in gaming, learning, or creating.

I’m glad it resonated Rohan.

I’m very guilty on non-purposeful consumption, and I heavily agree with you.

When it just becomes a habit and we’re stripped of choice, it’s time to be conscious and evaluate.

Great article Rasmus!

Definitely agree with your points about creation over consumption. I feel the exact same as you. Would consume so much, but didn't really get me anywhere. At some point, you realise you are unfulfiled so you decide to start creating yourself.

Really like how you broke everything down, and the lengths of the paragraphs.

It flowed very well.

Keep it up and thanks so much for the shout-out. One piece of advice is to be really honest with your writing, people will be attracted more to it.

Thank you for reading Stefano!

We have to face that feeling of not being fulfilled head on.

I’m glad you think it flowed well, and I’ll keep your advice in mind!
